Satellite / Radio Systems

Communication for Remote Exploration Sites

Traditionally secure reliable communication for Mineral Exploration Sites has been difficult & expensive. Major changes in recent years have seen the introduction of Satellite phones which was a major step forward.

Now GCS take exploration site communication to a new level of reliability, cost effectiveness and robustness to withstand a demanding environment.

Introducing the Satellite Connect Radio Repeater.

This compact unit is solar powered, contains a full 25 Watt UHF commercial radio repeater interconnected with a Satellite Telephone service. This compact unit, contained in weatherproof, robust pelican cases is easy to set up by non Technical people and allows for communications in a 10-30 KM radius of the repeater by way of mobile and portable two way radios. This ensures that all personnel on an Exploration site can communicate between various drill rigs, camps and other work areas easily, immediately and reliably without any call charges.

Every user, by utilising the DTMF keypad on their radio can then access the inbuilt satellite connection to make and receive telephone calls. This enables all personnel to have access to external Telephone services and reduces the need to have multiple satellite services on the one exploration site.

GCS can sell or rent these systems and we couple the system with the well known and well proven Motorola Mobile and Portable radios to provide the highest levels of reliability and service.

Contact GCS to find out how these systems can make your remote site communications easier and more reliable.
